Wise Deposit Account

These Account Terms & Conditions are part of the agreement that governs the Wise Deposit Account, which is a deposit account held at BBVA USA (“BBVA”), Member FDIC. You are applying for and may use the Wise Deposit Account through the website, mobile application, or other means that Wise makes available to you. Wise is sometimes referred to as the “Program Manager” and the website, mobile application, and other means by which you access the Wise Deposit Account are sometimes referred to as the “Application.” Please see the Deposit Account Agreement & Service Terms for more information. Unless otherwise defined here, capitalized terms have the meaning set forth in the Deposit Account Agreement & Service Terms.

SERVICES AND FEATURES AVAILABLE FOR YOUR ACCOUNT

The following services are available in connection with your Wise Deposit Account:

  • Debit Cards, which is described in the Deposit Account Agreement & Service Terms at Part II, Section 1. You may use this service in accordance with the debit card agreement that will be made available to you, including, for example, to withdraw cash from your Wise Deposit Account at any ATM, and to make direct purchases online or at a point of sale.

  • Transfers Within Bank, which is described in the Deposit Account Agreement & Service Terms at Part II, Section 2. You may use this service to move funds between your Wise Deposit Account and another bank account at BBVA.

  • Bill Pay, which is described in the Deposit Account Agreement & Service Terms at Part II, Section 3. You may use this service to make payments from your Wise Deposit Account to eligible persons.

  • Push to Card Service, which is described in the Deposit Account Agreement & Service Terms at Part II, Section 4. You may use this service to move funds from your Wise Deposit Account to a linked debit or prepaid card account.

  • Pull from Card Service, which is described in the Deposit Account Agreement & Service Terms at Part II, Section 5. You may use this service to move funds from your linked debit or prepaid card account to your Wise Deposit Account.

  • Business ACH Service, which is described in the Deposit Account Agreement & Service Terms at Part II, Section 7(A). You may use this service to move funds between your Wise Deposit Account and a linked bank account at another financial institution.

If a service described in Part II of the Deposit Account Agreement & Service Terms is not listed above or available through the Application, it is not available in connection with your Wise Deposit Account, so the service will not be available to you and you are not authorized to access or use such service in connection with your Wise Deposit Account.

The following features are not available for your Wise Deposit Account:

  • Paper checks, including self-printed and 3rd party-printed paper checks, cannot be used to pay money from this account.

  • You will not be able to make deposits at ATMs, including at BBVA ATMs.

  • You will not be able to use BBVA branches to transact on this account.

  • Your account cannot be designated as a joint or P.O.D. account.

PROGRAM MANAGER CONTACT INFORMATION AND BUSINESS HOURS

You should contact Program Manager with any questions or concerns about your Wise Deposit Account, including the following:

  • If you notice any errors or have any questions regarding an Electronic Funds Transfer

  • If you believe your Wise Deposit Account has been or will be subject to an unauthorized Electronic Funds Transfer

  • If you lose an access device that allows you to make Electronic Funds Transfers on your Wise Deposit Account (such as a debit card, if applicable to your account)

  • Any loss or compromise of your access credentials or other Security Codes

  • If you wish to stop a Preauthorized Electronic Funds Transfer

  • If you notice any errors on your statement or wish to dispute any transaction
